Filotech Electrodes Inc. is the only all-Canadian independent manufacturer of hardfacing and rebuilding wires, including chrome carbide overlay wires.

Filotech manufactures everything from "scratch" and formulates on its own premises. We are problem solvers and we have been very successful at manufacturing custom wires and formulations on behalf of our customers. We are known for our expertise in solving wear issues throughout the country in the mining, quarrying, pulp and paper, agricultural, railway, foundry and hydroelectric industries. Since our humble beginnings 25 years ago, we have become a benchmark in the industry.

Filotech products are offered through distributors and private label sales. Technical sales training courses are available to support the product line. In the case of direct sales to customers, welding seminars are offered to those directly involved in the welding and maintenance processes. These include but are not limited to, welders, assemblers, foremen and department supervisors, thus completing the Filotech loop from concept to implementation.
